Wes Anderson And H&M : Come Together
The festive season has had its fair share of classic adverts, one being when H&M collaborated with cult director Mr Wes Anderson to create an unsurprisingly stylish short titled 'Come Together'. The four-minute film succinctly encapsulates Mr Anderson’s signature aesthetic, supported by lots of the Swedish giant’s knitwear.
Mr Anderson has a long history of collaboration with the fashion industry. In 2007 Louis Vuitton designed some magnificent period luggage for his film The Darjeeling Limited. Then in 2013, Mr Wes Anderson partnered with Prada on an eight-minute short, Castello Cavalcanti, and then followed that up the following year with costumes for The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Wes Anderson’s H&M Lines Winter Express
In the short Mr Adrien Brody stars as a train conductor on the H&M Lines Winter Express, which is delayed by blizzard causing its passengers to miss their festive plans. Mr Brody in the hope of salvaging Christmas orchestrates an impromptu group celebration in one of the cars for his passengers.
This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug
